AEAL efforts are divided into three main service components:
Research and Collaboration – Working with staff and faculty from UC Davis, the entire UC system, and various universities across the country to perform research, improve experimental methods, and share results of our research with the scientific community.
Student Education and Advising – AEAL graduate students receive funding, guidance, logistic and technical support from AEAL staff. Our lab also provides undergraduate students and volunteers with research opportunities and experience.
Biological and Chemical Water Quality Monitoring – Helping state, local, and citizen organizations conserve their watersheds through monitoring and analyses of waters, organisms, and habitats, as well as through education and networking of resources and information.
We collaborate with investigators from diverse disciplines on the Davis campus and across the entire UC system. We welcome the opportunity to develop partnerships with other laboratories and federal, state, and local agencies.
